What to Do This Weekend: #FeelsFest, Gawang Kamay, and the INC International Evangelical Mission

I hope you are doing great and weren't affected by the typhoon! The weekend is upon us and there are a few things worth checking out. If you're still looking for something to do, here are the events happening on Saturday and Sunday.

#FeelsFest

Get your hugot on and celebrate love this Saturday, October 22, at #Feelsfest, happening at the Glorietta 5 Atrium in Makati. Brought to you by #romanceclass, a community of Filipino romance book authors and readers, #Feelsfest is a day to meet your favorite authors of indie romance books, participate in games, giveaways, live readings, and witness the launch of new titles. There will also be a book donation drive from Ayala Malls' Little Free Library, so bring a book to give!

New titles to be launched at #Feelsfest this Saturday.

One of the main events for #Feelsfest is the live readings, with actors who read excerpts from romance novels. Listen to Gio Gahol, Rachel Coates, Hervin Alvarez, and Gabriela Pangilinan bring to life the pages from works of Mina V. Esguerra, Ines Bautista-Yao, and more. The live readings will start at 2PM.

"The #romanceclass community is all about encouraging each other to read, write, and publish books we love," says author Mina V. Esguerra, whose books include Iris After the Incident, Tempting Victoria, and What You Wanted, all of which and more will be available for sale at the event. "#Feelsfest is our chance to give back to the community of readers and friends who've supported us."

Book selling will begin when the malls opens, and the official program will be from 2PM to 6PM.

Gawang Kamay

If crafting is up your alley, then drop by Greenbelt 5 and visit Gawang Kamay, a gathering of local crafters, artists, and entrepreneurs. Browse their work, wares, and attend workshops that will keep your hands busy. The event will happen throughout October to December, and this is only their first leg. Visit them on Saturday and Sunday (October 22 & 23) at Basement 1 and on the 3F, in front of Grassroots, from 11AM to 7PM.

If you're interested in becoming a booth merchant, sponsor, or collaborator in the upcoming events, you may visit their Facebook page or shoot them an email.

Iglesia Ni Cristo International Evangelical Mission

If you want to know more about the Iglesia Ni Cristo or the Church of Christ and its doctrines, there will be a series of programs on air and online you can listen to over the weekend. Tune in to DZEM 954kHz, or visit the INC Radio official website. You may also subscribe to the official YouTube channel of INC Radio here. Check out the photo below for the schedule of programs in your preferred language.

That's it for now. Hope you have a happy and productive weekend with your loved ones. Stay dry!
